HERMEQ is a family owned business born out of the West Midlands.

Previously known as Hawthorn Trading Company, the Steel Division of HERMEQ began in 1986. In 2016 Safe Fence, a distributor of Safety Fencing & other Non-Mechanical products was formed and grew rapidly over the next decade. Following the retirement of the Senior Management team at Hawthorn Trading Company in 2024 the two companies merged & have since undergone a process of building out in-house manufacturing facilities & creating global distribution centres for our ever growing product range.

Now HERMEQ is one of Europe’s fastest growing companies. We aim to remove supply chain inefficiencies with vertical integration and use technology to help provide our customers with better products at a more cost-effective price. We concentrate on being leaner, faster & smarter to enable you to deliver the future.
